Day 1 Bangkok - Ayuthaya - Korat (Nakorn Ratchasima)
Early morning departure from Bangkok for Nakorn Ratchasima, commonly known as Korat. Enroute we will visit Ayuthaya, the old capital of Siam, and Bang Pa-In which was used as a summer retreat by the Royal Family during the reigns of King Rama V and VI. Continue to Lopburi for the ruins of Wat Phra Sri Rattanamahathad and Sarn Phra Karn - which is also known as the largest Monkey Shrine in Thailand. Overnight at the Royal Princess Korat.
Lunch, Dinner

Day 2 Korat - Buri Ram - Khao Yai National Park
A short distance outside of Korat is a recently discovered archaeological dig, Ban Prasat, an excavation that reveals prehistoric male and female skeletons; unique high quality, red-slipped, burnished, trumpet rim, globular pots; black Pimai pottery; bronze ornaments; crucibles and moulds for socket axes. From there continue to Prasat Pimai to see the beautiful ancient Khmer-style ruins. Following lunch we shall continue to the highlight of today's tour, Prasat Khao Phnom Roong, one of the most important of the Khmer ruins to be found in Thailand. Overnight at the Juladis Khao Yai Resort An optional excursion is available tonight for those interested in taking a wildlife observation trip into Khao Yai National Park.
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3 Khao Yai - Bangkok
An early morning excursion to the national park to see the infamous Haew Narok (Hells Cliff) Waterfall in the national park where many wild elephants have fallen to their death. An afternoon return to Bangkok with a stop at Saraburi to visit Wat Phra Phuthabaht with its footprint of the Lord Buddha.
